| **IMPORTANT** SAFE iOS security update | An SAFE iOS app update aimed to address the issue wherein students have unrestricted web access without detection through the 'Type to Siri' feature has been released for SAFE iOS app.
Now, SAFE enforces students to turn on 'Guided access' mode (for kiosk-like behavior) before taking an exam on SAFE.
SAFE also detects in case a student tries to exit 'Guided access' mode during exam and raises 'OOF' (Out of focus) flag.
The student submission will be flagged in this case.

- Frequency plot of marks with percent of students available in Statistics tab for a quiz,
(7) Security Report
- Security Report tab colour change based on flags severity,

| Time extension feature | SAFE now has time-extension feature. Workflow is simple
(1) Student makes time extension request sometime before exam ends
(2) Instructor takes call on how much time extension to give
(3) Gives time extension code to student
(4) Code is shareable, and also allows time extension up to 30 min; so instructor should note down how much time extension is permitted to which student
(5) All submissions with time extension will come in to server with an E security flag; info noted in (4) can be checked post-facto
